Very good contemporary novel - love at its best. Good story line and hot romance

I found this romance to be boring. The characters were not very interesting either.

What do Chelsea Lattimer and David Winter have in common? Aside from both being single, attractive and successful-absolutely nothing! She's an outspoken, free-spirited romance novelist. He's a physician, with a blue-blood pedigree and all the proper seriousness of his profession.

The closest free-spirited romance novelist Chelsea Lattimer got to having anything in common with buttoned-down doctor David Winter was the incredible chemistry that flared between them on a blind date. It may even have been in the spirit of clinical research that David decided to mold himself into one of the heroes in Chelsea's novels

Since Catherine Coulter is one of my favorite authors, I found this book to be just ok. I will say that I did like how different the two characters were from each other.

What were their friends thinking of? Chelsea Lattimer and David Winter couldn't have been more different. Chelsea was a writer. She lost herself in the past to make up for the inadequacies of the present.

David was a doctor, a man of the here and now, with no time for the flights of fantasy he was sure writers indulged in.

But the passion they shared was no fantasy - it was so real, even Chelsea couldn't deny it. Could the matchmakers have been right after all?

But there is this incredible chemistry that won't go away.
