Helpful Score: 1
This is an outstanding factual account of the units that held of the Germans for the few days before the battle at Bastogne, Belgium. It was the German's last push in an attempt to drive into Holland and split the Allied forces. Because of the efforts of these American troops west of Bastogne the 101st had time to get to the town and the Germans were eventually defeated. Very graphic detailed accounts of the men and their thoughts.
