Fairly good and a very fast read. I had some quibbles with his writing style (all the characters seemed to have the same personality, even though they were all supposed to be vastly different), the ending was a bit rushed (another 10-20 pages would have fleshed it out much more nicely), and it reminded me of all the fan fiction that end up with 20 gay boys as characters with one straight girl. Overall, though, it was a nice light read; a pretty unconventional love story to lift the spirits, I guess.

I didn't love it.

I thought it was a little simplistic, a little like a cheesy romantic comedy. Also, I thought the story was cluttered with some unnecessary characters that got in the way. And overall it felt a little rushed and the character development wasn't great. And the book didn't seem to concentrate on some of the most important parts of the story ie. the main characters relationship.

Also I had trouble thinking of the characters as almost 40. I kept thinking of them as younger, maybe because they acted so young or didn't seem to change at all since high school.
