I have alternate versions of a book in my Wish List. When I get one of the versions do I have to delete the remaining versions on my wish list or is that automatically done? I don't want mulitple versions of the same book. LOVE PBS!!!! |

The versions that PBS knows are related will be put on Hold on your wish list. If you have enough space, you should leave them there until you get the book you ordered, just in case there's a problem or it gets lost en route to you. |

Those versions are placed on hold by PBS once you accept the book from your wish list so you shouldn't get multiple versions of the same book. When you mark the book as received, it will ask you if you want to delete the alternate versions. You can also go in and remove them from your wish list if you want. I don't usually do that though... just in case the book gets lost in the mail, etc. I leave them on hold on my wish list until I receive the book. |

Yuppers, they go on hold...if the system recognizes them as tied together. Upon rare occassion the system doesn't recognize a version, in which case that wish would remain active. When you mark the book received, IIRC the system askes if you want the alternate versions removed from your wishlist. |

I know a couple of times I have been asked, when marking a WL book received, if I want to delete other versions. But it's not reliable and so it's best to go and check your WL yourself. I usually leave them on hold until I get the one that's enroute to me. |
