Second in a series of 2. Very likable character. Suggest reading first book first. I wanted a third book.

This was a really good suspense novel by Kay Hooper. I read it all practically at one sitting. Kept you guessing all the way through "who dun it?" A little (or a lot) of romance mixed in helped alot too. I liked it.

Quinn, the infamous cat burglar is working with Interpol to catch a thief deadlier than himself or is he. Great mix of intrigue, suspense and romance. Very good book

Set in San Francisco, the follow-up to ONCE A THIEF. Just as good, if not better.

The sense of mystery and suspense Kay Hooper always provides is just as strong in ALWAYS A THIEF as it was in ONCE A THIEF. Great going, Hooper!

This is the 2nd book in a series about a cat burglar named Quinn. The main female character in the book, Morgan is also from the 1st book of the series. Morgan is the director in a museum that has an exhibit thieves are interested in obtaining.

Sequel to Once a Thief. I like the unusual characters. Heroine isn't your standard type. This isn't so much a romance as it is a light thriller with a little attraction between the main characters.

Second book in the "Thief" series. Very likable characters and a lot of explanation of the first book. Continued romances and more mystery.

This is the second (and last) of the Quinn series. The first being Once a Thief. I enjoyed the two, a good story, strong fun characters with a enough to discover during the course of the book to keep it interesting. I would say that I did end up disappointed that there wasn't a third. The storyline was decidely left "open" and in my opinion a little unfinished. But for good solid thief "caper" this is a good choice.

The sequel to Once a Theif. Enjoyed it. The exhibit is almost ready for the public, and Morgan begins to learn that infamous thief Quinn isn't quite what he seems. Using the adage that it "takes a thief", Quinn is working with Morgan's boss to help.....

this is a great book. Quinn, the hero is everything he should be: he's handsome, intelligent and has a great sense of humor. I loved this book and the one that came before it. There is one more left in the series that Ms. Hooper said is still in negotiation with the publisher. It is so worth the read!
romance mystery, women falls for wrong guy, guy saves girl. You know the drill! Why are these women so dumb??? Why do I keep picking up this sort of book???
The second book in an excellent series filled with romance and mystery.

The priceless, rarely displayed Bannister collection is about to be exhibited-and the show's director, Morgan West, can't ignore her growing uneasiness. She's certain she hasn't seen the last of the infamous cat burglar Quinn. But she never expected him to turn up at her apartment one dark night in desperate need of her help-help she can't refuse. The mysterious master thief is playing a dangerous game, and it's a game that just might get him killed.
With Morgan's help, Quinn sets a trap intended to catch someone far more elusive and more deadly...than a thief. But an unseen threat shadows him in the fog shrouded San Francisco night, an unknown adversary more cunning that any he has yet encountered. Now, just when the stakes are higher than even Quinn can imagine, no one can be trusted...and everything's at risk.

The conclusion to "Once a Thief". It really helps to read the first book before beginning this one. Give the history of the characters.
