THIS is why we love Danielle Steel! She's broken free of the boring "template" that she's used on so many recent books and written a great story, with many interesting characters. Strong women, real problems, and interesting circumstances.

I was pleasantly surprised that this was a great story!!! I finished it in a day. The story takes place in the aftermath of a major earthquake in San Francisco when several people with very different lives come together and form lasting bonds. This is actually one of her better books, especially considering some of the crappier ones she's put out lately. Yay Danielle Steel!! Keep the good ones coming!

I can't remember why I picked this book up, but it was perfect for me when I read it. A nice reminder how quickly your life can change and how ultimately you do have control over your choices. And when life dishes out things out of our control, how you can make the best of it.

I really enjoyed it.

To date, this is my favorite of Danielle Steele's novels. A California earthquake throws an odd assortment of people together, each with their own interesting challenges, facing "earthquakes" within their personal lives...A wife loses her prestigious husband and lifestyle, a nun questions whether she should leave the family of the Church in order to experience romantic love and a chance for a family of her own...a young woman goes thru the struggle of cutting the apron strings of her stage-struck mother and a life away from the glamour of a musician's life...A man explores AA and life with sobriety....An interesting section out of the days of the lives of realistic and likable characters. Enjoy!

This book is a return to the older Danielle Steel style and story. It's set in her familiar San Francisco with multiple characters and stories interwoven. It was an easy read and I enjoyed her work again.

Not bad at all. Several very well developed characters and you want to read more about them, I found myself skipping ahead to find out what happened to one or two and then going back to read about the rest of the story. Good character growth on some characters and all in all a good read.

This book was not up to Danielle Steel's usual standards. It was a predictable story, no surprises. Instead of getting involved in her books like I usually do, this one skimmed the surface. It could have been better by her not having interwoven characters and focused on one of them.

I'm not really a Danielle Steel fan (this is the only book I've read of hers), but this book was pretty good. It didn't blow me away....but was a good read.

This book was absolutely amazing. This was the first book that I've read by Danielle Steel and whatever I read afterward had a very tough act to follow. It was very interesting the way every single character in the book crossed paths, became friends, fell in love, and kept in touch, all through a tragedy.

Amazing Grace is well...Amazing! Danielle Steel wrote a different type of book than her normal novels. Don't get me wrong though, I love Danielle Steel's writing. I have read every novel she has had published.

There is so much dimension in each of the characters. In the book... faith, love, and loyalty win overall. I feel like Danielle's inner core showed through in this novel. She is an author who you can't judge just by her cover and outer beauty, and with that said, the characters can't be judged by the initial impressions they portray either.

Grab some hot chocolate, your comfy blanket, a "do not disturb" sign, and this book for a great evening in. You deserve it! :)

I absolutely had a hard time putting this book down. In my opinion, this book is definitely a must read for Danielle Steel readers, and any reader who wants to feel better about the life they lead, and wants to do more to help and assist their fellow men.

I found this book very hard to get into. If a book doesn't grab me in the first chapter so or I set it aside. This is one of those books

A wonderful story of not only love and romance, but of personal and earthly catastrophys. A tale woven with real life scenerios and compassion. A lot of surprises.

About every 3-4 months I pick up a Danielle Steel book. Sometimes it brings me back to my college years (when that is all I read) and other times it reminds me why I only pick one up every 3-4 months. This one was the later. It was so promising. I am a fan of the individual people coming together and seeing how the relationships build and grow especially under duress which this was, however to me it didn't flow the way it should have and the ending was definitely not what I wanted or would have written. It disappointed me that it appeared to me that Ms. Steel took the easy way out.

Good read with interesting characters that you really come to care about what happens to them. Very timely investment fraud story-line, too.

This was one AMAZING book. I am a huge Danielle Steel fan and have read almost everything she has written. However, I believe this to be her best book over all others. I couldn't put it down. I believe the amazing grace that her characters were looking for is something that we can all find by believing in God and trusting him to guide us. This was a truly inspiring book. Have a tissue handy. I laughed, cried and rejoiced as I read this awesome book!

I bought this book to read on a long flight. I liked this book very much.
I didn't care too much for the characters Melanie & Tom. But I did get wrapped up in the other characters Sarah & Seth. But I really got caught up in Sister Maggie & Everett's characters. I hated what Seth put Sarah through. And I was so happy to see what happened and turned out for Maggie & Everett.
