Urban Fantasy by Lori Devoti, and second in series, after Amazon Ink. Zery is a present day Amazon Queen. Zery is busy: the Amazon community doesn't know what to do with the discovery of the Amazon "sons," she has a new High Priestess who isn't what Zery is used to, and she wonders if her long-time best friend Mel, is siding with the sons. Not all is what it seems within the Amazon heirarchy, and exposure to the "sons" makes Zery question herself, her beliefs, and what she has been indoctrinated to believe. While this is a good book, I thought Zery was a little dumb to be a Queen. But, she does prevail. Not as good as Amazon Ink, but worthwhile.
