This was a light, easy, and entertaining read about a woman named Jules, who gets in over her head at her new job. The characters are wacky, hilarious, and balancing right on the edge of believable and mouth-dropping-open unbelievable. Definitely great if you're looking for a few laughs!
I really liked this book. It made me think of the "real American Idol" in a different way. I kept comparing the people in the book to the people on the show. It was a really fun read.
When her celebrity chef boss knocked her unconscious with a frying pan, it jump started Jules life. She'd been job hopping and man shopping for way to long. She gets a job with an executive producer with a split personality. a judge with bubonic plague, a coworker whose weapon was bad mayonnaise, insane fans, vote rigging, dressing room botox and a hot guy who Jules thought was an alcoholic. This is a great book. It is lots of fun to reaad and it's smart and sassy. Will make you feel good. Great read.
