I knew this book was bad romance when I was more interested in the lives of the "Popstar Live" contestants than in the romance between Jules and Sam. To me, there was no chemistry between the hero and heroine. We were told, rather than shown, that they liked each other. It's billed as zany but there's a fine line between "zany" and "oh please". This book crossed that line on .. oh .. about page 10. Good premise, just too much other stuff going on.
I liked this book. It isn't romantic but is funny and different to other chick-lit books because this one is about a reality show. Jules is so funny. I want to read more books of this author.
Very cute book - gives you an idea what life behind American Idol might be like! :)
Interesting back stage view of TV productions.
Loved it! I read "Nice Girls Finish First" which features Kirby from "American Idle" and had to go back to find out more about Jules.
This is HILARIOUS!
