An interesting concept--having Jesus run for the presidency. At times the author pulls off the concept well--other times it falls a bit flat. As a person who is cynical about both political parties I found it interesting.

I've only read one other book written by Roland Merullo - "Breakfast with Buddha" and "American Savior" was a big disappointment in comparison. "Breakfast" offered me insights into spirituality and finding one's self. "American Savior" never seemed to get beyond the story line and missed an opportunity to pass along any deep message.
