About a little vietnamese girl that has come to the u.s. from Vietnam, and she doesn't like her school here. A little red-haired boy picks on here almost everyday.
She misses her mom who is still in vietnam but to her surprise the the red-haired boy finds a way to help her.

Ut has just come from Vietnam and she is not happy at her American School.The children all laugh when she speaks in Vietnamese.And there's that awlful red-haired boy, named Raymond, who picks on her almost every day.
Most of all, Ut misses her mother who had to stay behind in Vietnam. But to Ut's surprise, it is Raymond ( is a boy in Ut's class that has been mean to her ) who thinks of the perfect way to help her.
I found this a sweet story in the writing and drawings on each page
it has so many emotions sad,confused and happy...I enjoyed this story very much. And shared this story with my granddaughter.
