A brilliant rendering of noir gumshoe thriller blended with supernatural horror....the human characters are well-delineate4d and engaging, the rogue spiritual entities battling on earth with complete disregard of casualties to mankind are chilling. The reader will be caught up immediately in the fatal dilemma confronting two policemen who desperately try to stop the escalating deathdealer.

A great mix of police procedural and a paranormal thriller. A rogue angel is on the loose in the streets of San Francisco. It's going to take two cops to stop him. Interesting concepts of good vs. evil, angels and demons.

Industry reviews
"So it is that earthly and once-heavenly powers join forces, in a narrative every bit as grittily realistic as Ed McBain or Elmore Leonard, and as matter-of-fact metaphysical as Borges. It's a blend I've not seen before, a narrative that veers and careens unpredictably, with wholly believable characters, no pretentious at all, and a quiet acceptance of the miraculous in our lives."
Bloomsbury Review - James Sallis

"...intriguing, unsettling insights into the nature of angels and demons."
