Rarely do I quit reading a book mid-way through, but I just couldn't work up enough interest to finish this one. I found the writing to be unsophisticated and the story uninteresting. For a writer who has won some awards, this one would win her nothing, in my opinion.

Throughout the book (or at least the first half--which is all I read) there were a large number of grammatical errors that distracted me from the very predictable storyline, such as the writer's frequent mis-use of the word "then." For example, "This was better then that." Ms. Fletcher would have benefited from a good editor.

This was my first time to read Donna Fletcher's work--and probably my last.

Ok read. I like the heros of the book, but the main heroine drove me crazy. The hero went out of his way to please her so many times and she just thumbed her nose at him. She needed to cut him some slack.
