I love this series. If you read this, I would suggest reading them in order so you can fully enjoy the story. Also good is Summers at Castle Auburn by the same author.

This was my first book by this author and I will definitely be reading more of her books. Wonderful story, vivid characters, intriguing plots.

One of my favorite from the Samaria series, "Angel-Seeker" satisfies reader's duo-curiosities about what type of person becomes an angle seeker (women and men who bed angels in an attempt to produce angelic children and gain in social status) and how one of the planet's more conservative ethnic groups operates behind it's tightly closed social doors. Obediah, charismatic, gentle and somewhat shiftless, learns how to love and Rebekah, a rebellious but essentially good-hearted young woman, discovers she has what it takes to fight for what one most desires. "Angel-Seeker" is a well-written tale that gets into the heads and hearts of the characters with a hearty does of good-humor and suspense.
