Angela's Ashes Author:Frank McCourt "When I look back on my childhood I wonder how I managed to survive at all. It was, of course, a miserable childhood: the happy childhood is hardly worth your while. Worse than the ordinary miserable childhood is the miserable Irish childhood and worse yet is the miserable Irish Catholic childhood."
I read this book and really enjoyed listening to it on tape. It is a special treat to have the author reading it. I couldn't wait to resume driving in my car so that I could continue to hear the story. Very, very good read and even better "listen".
