I used this book in one of my Psychology classes in an alternative high school. It is a fairly easy read, well-written and of interest to the "general" reader as well as someone specifically interested in mental health/illness.

This young brother writes of his older brother's evolving schizophrenia in an honest and thoughtful manner. It fostered excellent discussions with my students. I recommend it, particularly if you are seeking honest (and sometimes graphic)observations of one family's journey along this unpredictable road of mental illness.
