The Animal Shelter Mystery - Boxcar Children, No 22 Author: When a calico cat shows up at Grandfather's house, the Boxcar Children try to find its owner, but are unsuccessful. Not sure what to do, they take it to the animal shelter, but learn that the anonymous founder is shutting it down. The children turn their boxcar into a temporary shelter until they can find the missing founder.
