I can't recall if they've been mentioned here so forgive me if this is old hat to the rest of you. These are set in late 19C Leadville, Colorado and fairly good, solid reads. I'm just starting book four and surprises and long lost family popping out left and right. Series info at Goodreads,  http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6533709-iron-ties

Kelly reviewed Iron Ties on the forum not long ago and I requested her book. Wish I'd read these when I was still living in Colorado! I've since ordered the rest of them! Great reads!!! yes

Book four takes the action to Manitou Springs, and we're getting a glimpse of Inez's past.
