Anne Perry has written five Christmas books: The Christmas Vistor, The Christmas Present, etc.  Does anyone know if they are to be read in order or if it matters?

No, I am reading them right now and no they don't have to be read in order.  They are different stories.  I love them just a great set of books.

I love Ann Perry. I think I'll have to look up the Christmas books

It does not matter what order they are read in -- each book features a different secondary character from her various series. I just finished her most recent "A Christmas Grace" which features Emily Radnor, Charlotte Pitt's sister.

Dom't expect these to be Christmas-themed books -- instead they are all mysteries that take place during the holiday season. Having said that, they are well-written, very entertaining and enjoyable any time of the year!

Oh I didn't know that they were slightly connected to her other series.  I'll have to check them out then.  I thought they were just Christmas themed books. I didn't realize they were mysteries.

I loved her WWI series about the Reavely family. I was sorry to see that end.
