Do they have to be read in order or are they just connected by characters that know each other?  I have 2 and 5 and don't really want to order the others at this poitn since my TBR is huge and they seem to be so heavily posted.

I read them all out of order without problems.  There is a running plotline about the organization they work for, but I didn't much care so it didn't bother me. :-)  Still, the first is generally considered the best, and I'd recommend it if it comes your way.

Ditto what Willa said.  I read them all out of order, too, and loved just about all of them.

I think the 5th one are the sister and nephew of the couple in the 3rd book. I didn't like them in that book so unless something happens in book #4 I'm not holding my breath on giving a crap if they both get killed in the last book! ok dont' ask me w hy the heck I bought the book but I did and now I'm stuck trying to psyche myself up to read book #4 but female mercenaries dont' do it for me plus you know me and my wimpiness...of the first 3 that I've read my favorite storyline was Black Ice and my favorite characters were Bastien(book 1) and Peter (book 2).

OK thanks.  I will probably read the others if they come my way. But I didn't want to spend credits on them just to read the series in order. I'd like to read the 2 I have for the Rate The Books Challenge.

I really enjoyed this series.  And in case anyone is interested I have Black Ice and Cold as Ice on my shelf.  I am willing to let them both go for one credit.

Susanna, if you mean Ice Storm, I really loved that one! I traded it and then had to get another copy. ;-)  Book 5, Fire and Ice, didn't do much for me. Supposedly really smart women who act like idiots are one of my pet peeves.

ok well maybe I'll give Ice Storm a try..I have to read an Anne Stuart title for the challenge but I'm leaning towards One More Valentine due to it supposedly not being too scary and being kinda short LOL!

You could save One More Valentine for a VD challenge!

I read them all out of order and had no problem, even the two that were semi-connected.

I read them in order, and books 1-4  were great, and could, I think be read out of order.  Book 5, Fire and Ice, was really bad.
