An enjoyable read about Anne and Gilbert getting married and settling in their House of Dreams. Anne again is instrumental in the life of her friend, Leslie. We meet some extraordinary people, such as Captain Jim who mans the lighthouse. He tells great stories of his life at sea and they are compiled into his Life Book. It seemed so intriguing I wanted to do a Google search for it and read it myself. ;-) I found it very amazing that Montgomery, in her day of writing, couldn't be open to write about pregnancy and babies ... and actually had the stork come to visit.
