Just joined last week and signed up for BOB yesterday.  When I send out books through BOB do I need to remove them from my bookshelf or is it automatic?

If I am not mistaken it should be automatic. :0)

They stay on your shelf until both parties have agreed to the box.  Then it removes it and you print the lable out through the BOB transaction.  If you want to use the printed postage-repost one of the books and then immediately select mail to a friend-put the other bobber's address in and print.  Just remember to add the weight for other books and packaging.
