this is probably a simple yes/no question but anywho... i've been noticing a lot lately when i look at the books that were posted today, there have been A LOT of books that i am no. 1 on the wishlist being posted but not going to me or not causing my # to move up on the list. is this because someone is posting directly to someone's wishlist or perhaps posting but having their account on hold? did i just answer my own question? lol. it's just frustrating seeing books posted that i barely ever see on here and i'm not moving up at all on them. They are probably other versions with different ISBNs, those won't go to your WL, you'll only get the ISBN you have on your WL. You should get e-mails about these other versions unless you turned that off in your seltting. If you don't care what version you get, search for the other types and WL them all (use 48 hold so you don't get more than one version shipping to you at once). |

well actually i'm looking them up by "author posted in the last 24 hours" and it's the EXACT version that i have on my wishlist. i've seen about 8 of the exact books being posted but i never move up in the listing for it. |

But, it could still be a different ISBN# that is what you need to compare |

That is why I have every version of the books I want on my wishlist. There seems to be four or five different ISBN's for the same book usually. |

ok i just checked the books and it's the exact same ISBNs that are being "listed" that i have put on my list. oh well. |

Then the books are probably being posted directly to someone else's WL. |

The odds of 8 books you have WLed being posted in a day is extremely slim let alone all of them being posted directly to someone else's WL. I would recommend sending R&R feedback that lists the books and their ISBNs and posting times and ask if they can explain what is happening. |
