Really the only way to find the books that have no ISBNs on PBS is what you have done, post in the Book Bazaar and wait. Periodically search the database by title and author to see if anyone has posted any by the short PBS assigned ISBNs.

You can do a search for "cosgrove", then flip the menu in the gray box at the top left from "all books" to "posted books".  Save the search and try it again periodically.

When a book doesn't have an ISBN printed on the book, then the member who posts it will use the option of posted the book without an ISBN.  (In the yellow bar, at the top of the Post Books page.)  The website's server then assigns it a number (we're up to 6 digits now) that is specific to that -- and only that -- copy of the book.  Maybe that's what you are calling hidden ISBNs.

See About Non-ISBN items at PBS

I don't think they're wishlisted. I think the problem is they're not in the PBS system.

Yes yet are not in the system :( there are like four out of like 40 books that have isbns on amazon but we have those ones. I have searched up an down and found the illustrator isn't the original illustrator or the orignal publisher even! It's crazy lol Thanks for the advice guys. Now it's just a waiting game! :)

I thought it was against the rules to ask for WL books?

If they do not have ISBNs its impossible for them to be WLed. People are not supposed to be wishing for short ISBNs so if someone is, they are in error not the person asking for the books in the Bazaar.

OK, I misunderstood.  Got it now.

I did some research, and it looks like this "library" of 24 books was put out under 1 ISBN for the collection.  It's 9780874756005.

If you put that number in here at PBS, you get a picture of one book and a title of another--they don't match.  It's going to be very difficult to get them unless you just watch for the short ISBNs, or break down and buy a set somewhere.  They are not expensive at all--Amazon has all the titles starting at .01 used (at least all the ones I saw), and eBay has the entire 24 book set for 59.95 + 8.00 shipping.  That's cheaper than the price of all the credits, whether you bought them or paid to ship out books to earn them.

If nothing else, you could sell some of your credits here for Paypal, then you'd have the means to buy the whole set from another vendor.  Just a suggestion.

I don't think stores and book sellers started really requiring books to have ISBNs until the 90's when most places went computerized.  I have a lot of books from the early 90's with no ISBN or barcode. I just donate them because none are in much demand anyway.
