I am looking into trying digital scrapbooking.  Wanting to know what program is used.  What are good papers/elements that can be downloaded.  I want to make these and print them out myself so photobook places where you download their program to use wouldn't work.

Any tips, advice or experience would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Cindy, I use Photoshop Elements 5.0. There is a 6.0 out but I'm told 5.0 is better for digital scrapbooking. I wish I had the full Photoshop but I probably wouldn't learn how to make it work!

I have a few websites that I love, I will PM you because I don't think I'm supposed to tout on the forums. There are some great freebies out there!

Tout on the forums? What does that mean? Why can't you say what websites you use?

Well, the help docs say this:

No links to other swapping sites, or any commercial sites, may appear in any member-contributed content on PBS--not in Forum sigs, nor Forum posts, nor PBS Profiles, nor PMs, nor the Eclectic Pen, nor Reviews or Book Tags.

So I took that to mean that I wasn't supposed to post links to the sites I use. Though I suppose I could name them - Digichick, Shabby Princess, Peppermint Creative, and Digital Design Essentials! That should help you find them!

I purchased the cd-rom title called- Art Explosion, Scrapbook Factory Deluxe.  It has lots of different things on the disks that come with it.  I also use Freeze to get fonts and clip art.  Hope this helps!

Creative Memories has an awesome program.  You can download sets of coordinating paper and stickers.  The program is also very user friendly.    I love it!
