I've been tempted all week to order one of her books because I'd love a good ghost story but I can't decide in looking at the reviews if these are more "romances" or thriller type books?   The reviews leave me wondering if her books have a Harlequin feel to them and I don't think I'd care for them if they did.   How is her writing?

It's been a few months since I've read one of her ghost stories, with a lot of books under the bridge since then, but I'll try to answer.   IIRC, the ghost books are about 80% suspense, with a subplot of romance.  It's not that different from most detective stories, where the main character has an established relationship with a partner/sidekick.  There's just an evolving romantic relationship as the story progresses in the Graham novels.

I love her books!  And everything Sharon said about her writing is true.

I read one of ghost books and it didn't have much romance. There was a bit of a romance in it but not like her actual romance books.  I didn't find the romance in it anymore prevalient than many straight mystery books.  I've read several of those recently (written by men I might add) that had sex scenes and a romantic element.

For the life of me I cannot remember the ghost book of hers that I read. It was about Americans renting a castle in Scotland to run a medievil tourist show only to find out :A that the owner didn't give permission to have it rented out and B: that it's haunted-there's also a serial killer in the area. Something like that. It was good and not heavy on the romance although a couple of the charactes do get together.  I'm still blanking on the name.

Thank you everyone!   I think I'm going to try one and see how it is.   I love that show International Ghost Hunters and her plots remind me of this show.  :)

Yes I think that was it.  I think I have Ghost walk somewhere in the stacks of books around here.
