I was thinking of joining, but I'm wondering about it...and I'd like to say someone referred me to it for referral points.

I use it.  I haven't traded all that many there but I occasionally get someone wanting one of my disks, and sometimes get one sent to me.  I haven't had any problems with it.  I'd recommend it.  My user name over there is cybrdragon.

I use it and have posted quite a few CDs and shipped out quite a few. I also use SwapaDVD.

I use it, I like it.  It seems to run at a more sedate pace than PBS but it's a good site.

I also use the cd and DVD site - but mostly just to get rid of the cd's I no longer listen to.  Haven't put up and DVD's b/c I don't have a large selection at home to begin with.

I did sign up for the CD site but the CD's I posted had multiple copies so I ended up leaving there.  I was hoping to get points to move over here.  oh well!  I am doing good to keep up with what I have with the books!

I joined SaCD a few months ago.  I don't use it much at all, but I have gotten a few CDs and sent out 2 or 3.  I don't have many CDs to get rid of, so I haven't even posted 10 yet.  I have gotten a couple good deals in the Bazaar and 1 or 2 WL CDs.  While I am certainly not very active over there, I believe being a member has been a good thing for me. :-)

I joined a month or so ago, and promptly had to send out 40 CDs.  It is more laid back than PBS, with fewer members, and members cannot update the item data the way they can here.  Unfortunately, part of being more laid back seems to be that more folks marked things mailed that never left, and fail to mark things received.  I've had one of each in the month I've joined, which is more than I've had in nearly a year and 600+ transactions on PBS.

So, feel free to give it a try, but be sure and read the instructions.  There is no DC, no printable postage for SACD, so everything has to use stamps or go to the post office -- no "credit protection".  I mail my CDs in jewelcases, which is contrary to the SACD instructions to just use a thin sheet of cardboard, because it is easier and less time consuming, and the CD is better protected.

Their wish list system is different than ours; more like what the "new" WL system will be, so it is a good way to get a feel for how that type of system works.

Cheers,

Catt

Thank you for all the responses.  I'll think about it a little longer.  There are several CD's that I don't want (some that are still shrink wrapped) and had hoped to trade either for CD's I wanted or for credits here.  I'll watch it a while like I did PBS.
