No Ester, you can't ask for postable Wish Listed books anywhere, only offer and that's limited to the threads set up for that. It's not nice to the members in front of you in line to ask in the forums to skip ahead of them. If you are first in line for some, then you can say so and ask someone to post them, but using the forums to jump the people in front of you in the Wish List line isn't fair. |

Several of the ones listed I am #1 in line for, I have most of them on hold ATM. It's not really that I'm looking to get in front of the line, while it may look that way. I've had a few books on my WL that I have been #1 for awhile now. I've seen them posted in "post your WL books". So to me thats not far. I've been waiting in line while the posters are offereing them in the forums instead of posting them to the Wish listers. How can one not be far while the other is? |

We all can choose to use those WL threads or not use them. If you choose not to request books when they are posted there, that is your choice. But if you have the credits, then why not try to get them in the threads? The worst someone can tell you is no, but since you are #1 for it, eventually someone will post it FIFO. |

"Seems I've been #1 for awhile" I think we all have some books on our WL that make us feel that way. I have a couple I have been #1 in line for for a couple years....you have only been a member for two months..give it time. Some books are posted more often than others. Have I seen some of my most wanted offered in the Is This on Your WL thread??? Sure, but I figure eventually it will get to me. A very small percentage of PBS members use that thread. You might try getting involved in the game forum..I get a lot of my WL'd books by playing in the games. |

its not that i do not try to get the books from these threads. either they are taken by the time i read them or if it doesnt say so i will pm them and they will tell me 'thats an old post they are gone' 'i shipped those out last week'. get what im saying here? im trying to get them both places. but when i am seeing more books being posted then there are wl'ers and im not getting anywhere in line. that means people who dont have it wl'ed are getting it. leaveing us who do have it on our wl to keep waiting. like others have said not everyone uses the forums, so think about the people who dont. there no wonder why our inactive numbers are semi high. people feel as though they have to wait forever for a book. yet there are being offered al lot in the forums.
sorry for no caps and all that jazz. my internet is out in my house and im doing all this from my phone.
