This function has never worked for me. If I type the title of a book in my wish list, say "above world", I get a result of 195 books. Guess how many books are on my wish list? 195! It always returns the entire wish list as a result, no matter what I type in. So I have no way to search for books from an author or find a book based on one remembered word in the title. I have to scroll through all the pages to search. Does anyone else have this problem? I recently switched from Firefox to Chrome and hoped it would go away...nope. :-(

It's never worked for me when I have tried using it.

Are you touching/clicking the search button to the right after you enter your query? I've had the same problem and realized I was hitting 'enter' on my computer or 'go' on my iPad and it wouldn't search correctly. I don't know why there are certain places where using 'enter' works and other times it doesn't, but I thought maybe that's what's happening.

If I enter one word, it works best for me.  But the search results includes books that have the word in the description.

I agree with Linda - the search works great, but ONLY if you click the Search button with your mouse. Hitting enter doesn't do anything. I have been hoping that PBS will fix what is surely a bug...

For those who care about the technical details, what's happening when you press the Enter key is that your browser is telling the server you clicked the first submit button on the form. In this case, the [<< Back] button or [Next >>] button is the one getting clicked, so when you press Enter in the search box, it's the same as paging backward or forward.

It's a bug in the page design, and it's not that easy or quick to fix because they'll have to make some significant changes to the way the page is built, but it should definitely be reported by using the Contact Us link below. In the meantime, the workaround everyone gave of clicking the [Search] button with your mouse will work.

Lol, I never noticed that I was using Enter instead of the search button. I tried it with the search button and it worked! Thanks for the tip, everyone!

I learned something new too! I will have to try it the other way.  I've always just hit "Enter" expecting it to work & it never did.

Thanks for the heads up!
