i just got a copy of 'lepard prince' and know it is part of a series.  i have never read her before, but it seems like people either love her or hate her.  :)  just wondering if there were any fans on board.

I've read 2 of the Prince books, and really enjoyed them :)

I enjoyed the first two very much. I found the third disappointing; I felt she had made promises about the kind of character the hero was that she failed to keep.

I'm a fan. I agree with Willa. I liked the first 2 Prince books better than the 3rd(but it was still a good book), but I have also seen reviews where others thought the 3rd book was the best one. I also enjoyed her new contemporary realease, Hot, written under the name Julia Harper.

I just picked up the Leopard Prince from the book store because I knew it was WL. It was when I bought it anyway, I haven't checked to see if it still is or not.  I'm hoping I'll like it but it'll be my first from her.

I loved all three, and actually I liked the third best, I think. But it was alot darker than the 1st two.

I think if you like Loretta Chase or Lisa Kleypas you'd enjoy her. She won best new author last yaer on the All About Romance poll and The Serpent Prince and The Raven Prince were both on the top 100 of all time this year.

I am, I am.  I read the first two and really liked them.  I have the third in my TBR pile.

Still trying to get them myself.  Have a feeling I'll like her too.  I'm usually in agreement with Willa & Sherron, so..:)

I loved the raven prince and leopard prince (her best IMHO).  Not so crazy about serpent prince.  Sort of cold hero and ending too rushed; I didn't ever feel the h/h were truly in love with each other.  Does she have any new ones coming up?

I'd never even heard of her until you guys started mentioning her to me lately.  I finally couldn't stand it anymore and ordered this set from half.com late last night.

I love her historicals, it's the characters that get you.  The Raven Prince is still my favorite, the first book, then The Serpent Prince, followed by The Leopard Prince.   The third is a darker, tormented hero, some ike it more than others - I'm one who does like it.  Yes he was portrayed as cold outwardly and in choosing to take his vengeance, but you had to look deeper and see how tormented he was by that decision and why he had to do it, and that he wanted to find salvation after.  Different people will read him differently, I suppose.  I'll agree the ending seemed a bit rushed, but that seems to happen in a lot of stories today.

I do prefer reading series in order, even for minor nuances, but you could read LP first and see what you think, won't make much difference if you don't read RP first, though that is my favorite still.

She is starting a new series of 4 books, To Taste Temptation is the first out in May.

I tend to read less contemporaries, so haven't decided whether to try hers as Julia Harper yet.  That's another I'm seeing mixed comments about, so I'll see since it's not my preferred genre anyway, but I do recommend her historicals.

She is great, you really care about the characters and they are very unconventional.  I think it would hard not to like her books!

Between what was given to me and what I bought or ordered, I now have an extra copy each of The Raven Prince and The Leopard Prince.  Figured I'd pass those along, but I've been through a bunch of WLs so far and I don't see The Leopard Prince on any.  If anybody is wishing for these and I'm missing you, drop me an inbox.
