OK, I did this in past years and they went well (both quickly & over well on the other end). But the three I've tried so far this year have had no interest at all. Is there anyone here who would still be interested in a large box of books of the same genre, but without a listing of titles? Past examples have included romance, classics, general lit, thrillers, women's fiction, mystery. They usually have 30-45 books, and range from 3:1 to 5:1 depending on the size of the books of that genre. If you are, how many books per credit would it take to be of interest, and is there a maximum credits you would be willing to spend? (For example, want 4 for 1 and no more than 10 credits for the box). Which genres? (Please, keep them broad--mysteries, not cooking-mysteries.) I suppose I could do a mixed box as well. If folks are still interested I'll make some more up. But if there has just been a change in the interest in this type of thing I won't take any more time and will get rid of the books some other way. There is no obligation if you respond to this thread--though I'm willing to send you a PM if I get a box of whatever genre you wanted together, just say you want one in your response. But please, if you aren't interested don't say you are--I will be grumpy if 8 people say they want a box of mysteries and I put one together and no one wants it. :P |

I would be very interested in a general lit box. Would love to know what you think would be fair. 5 or 6 to 1 or whatever would make you feel OK about mailing. Let me know and we can talk! |

As a note, most of my books are not on my shelf right now. :) Not enough room to un-box them all, which is one reason I like sending out boxes. |
