Hi- Our summer cabin community is having an auction and Christmas sale at the end of October. It is a community that began by Swedish immigrants.  I am looking for any  nice Swedish cookbooks- even the recipe card size spiral types, (not Time/Life book ) or any children's books by Swedish authors that are classics like Elsa Beskow,  Maj Lindman, ( I already have a Pippi Longstocking set by Astrid Lindgern thanks to a PBS swapper ) Also any books on Dala horses, Swedish history,  tomtes/gnomes, that are cute and ethnic,  or Carl Larsson artist books, and Swedish Christmas books let me know - thanks, Jody M   I may be interested in Norwegian ethnic books too

Annika's Secret Wish is a beautiful children's book about a Swedish family at Christmas time.  I don't see it posted on here, and we aren't ready to give up our copy yet!  But if you can find it at a library book sale or used book store, I think it would be great for your auction.

Sorry I can't help you get your hands on a copy.  Maybe you could wish list it...

Not a cookbook/children's book  but I ordered this from PBS for my Mom (who is 1/2 Swedish & 1/4 Danish) earlier this summer and she really liked it.
