I was just wodering what other people thought of this book.  I felt that it portayed the horrors of the holocaust better than most books I have read.  There is one image in perticular that I can't get out of my head.  Please share your thoughts with me.

I've not read this one. I still shudder at the memory of Night and Sophie's Choice, both of which I read many years ago. Have you tried either of these?

No, I haven't read those.  I might have to check them out, but it will be little while.  I have to let the effects of Elia fade.

I read My Darling Elia a few months ago. I agree that it is very horrifying. It took a while for me to stop thinking about the story.

I gave it 4 out of 5 stars but I would never read it again just because it is so heart wrenching  and morbid in parts.

What do you think of City of Thieve?  I read that one a few months ago and I loved it.
