I've read theback of these  and wanted to know if anyone has read them and what you think about them.  Something Borrowed, Something Blue, Baby Proof and Love the one you're with.  They are a series right? Thanks!

It's been awhile but I have read Something Borrowed and Something Blue and liked them both enough to keep.  Haven't read the other 2 so I don't know if they are connected to the 1st 2.  Those 2 I read are very connected though.  If you don't like cheaters I wouldn't recommend them though (I know there are readers out there who hate this story line.)

I believe that Emily Griffin's books are considered more Chick Lit than romance.  Have you tried posting your question on the Chick Lit forum?

The first two are connected, I think the others stand alone. I've read all but the third and enjoyed them.  The first two are readable as romances, perhaps the last as well, depending on your point of view.

Baby Proof visits the people from Something Blue, if I remember correctly.  It's a very small visit though.  Just an "ah" moment.

I read Something Borrowed and liked the writing style, but hated the characters--they were just too annoying and whiny.  Darcy, who is the main character in Something Blue, was awful to me, so I decided to not even bother reading it.  I have too many other books to read and it didn't seem worth it to me to keep it on my list. I do still have Babyproof and Love the One You're With on my list--I'm hoping the characters are more likeable.

I would also consider them chick lit.  Something Borrowed's style was very different than the romance novels I've read.

Emily Giffin is definitely a chick-lit author and explores the themes commonly found in chick-lit books versus romance books.  I loved Something Borrowed and didn't care that they were cheating, although cheating normally turns me off.  It was probably because the person they were cheating on deserved it.  I still have Something Blue in my TBR pile several years later, as well as Baby Proof.  I do plan to read those books someday...

I thought Something Borrowed and Something Blue were both amazing. They are keepers for me and I don't keep a lot.  :) I have the next two but haven't read them yet.

I liked both Something Borrowed and Something Blue but did not like Baby Proof as well.  It seemed lacking to me.  JMHO.

I've read Love the One You're With but not the others yet. I really liked it. It made my heart hurt cause I think everyone has had one of those "what if" moments about a past love. I'd recommend it.
