I didn't want this to sit here unanswered--I have not read any of her books, but I do have the first one on my library list and plan to get to it eventually. The series looks interesting!

Does anyone know of a series set in New York City about 1900-1910, similar to Rhys Bowen's Molly Murphy or Victoria Thompson's Sarah Brandt (midwife) series?   Both tell a lot of info about the role of women during that period. Maggie
