I did not realize that J.R. Ward also writes under this name..  I love the BDB books and I'm wondering if her other books are as good.

On another note, why do some authors write under alternate names?  This is all new to me since joining PBS...

TIA!  :)

I was disappointed, dang it!  I was so excited to discover that she was writing other books, and I haven't enjoyed them a whole lot.  Let me know what you think.

Amy - I think sometimes they write under different names to try different genres.  Like Jayne Ann Krentz and her alter ego Jayne Castle (historical v. paranormal-ish).

No - I haven't tried her books yet.

I LOVE the brotherhood books and have  read two of her Jessica Bird books and enjoyed them both. One has to keep in mind that they are totally different but there was enough of an edge to the her Jessica books that I did enjoy them.  I read:

An Irresistible Bachelor (2004)
An Unforgettable Lady (2004)
