These are three old Loveswepts.  I'm looking for titles/authors, please. I think the first two are by Joan Elliot Pickard:

1) Man meets woman with small daughter.  Mom has no money so backyard is full of poppies so she doesn't have to mow.  Something happens and daughter gets sick and front door is broken.  Man stays the night and takes care of daughter, giving her medicine mixed with apple (??) jelly as he saw mom do.  At end of book, he's discussing life with his married friend and life is likened to cake.

2) Man, I think his name is Mitch, meets woman.  She lives in an old apartment with a friend who lives upstairs.  He takes her shopping for a new sofa at one point (which struck me as odd because it's right before he asks her to marry him).  I *think* he shows up at her house on a horse at the end to do the whole fairy princess thing.

3) Man has been accused of getting girl pregnant.  Woman works for company that does paternal testing.  I think he may have a son but I'm not clear on that.  They're about to have sex for the first time and she sends him off for condoms which kind of ticks him off a little.  Turns out it was his cousin that got the girl pregnant.

I know its not a lot to work with but any help would be appreciated.

I think your first book could be Wild Poppies, Loveswept # 190 by Joan Elliott Pickart.  The synopsis I found is no help in matching the details you gave.  But I read this years ago and it's the first title I thought of so it might be worth checking into.

I'm more confident about the second book.  I think it is Waiting For Prince Charming, Loveswept #94 by Joan Elliott Pickart.  The hero is Mitch Brannon and the heroine is Chelsey Star.  They meet when the homerun she hit shatters the windshield of his Ferrari if that rings a bell.  Read that one years ago too, but I'm pretty sure I remember the scene at the end with the white horse.

No thoughts at all on the third book.
