Overdrive, which is the ebook lending program used by many libraries, now has a "read in browser" option. Check your library to see if it's available to you. The selection is so much broader than at the print library, for me.

I'd been seeing a new book type called "Overdrive Read" when I did searches, I'm guessing those are the books available for the brower.
