I wrote fanfic on Alias. In the end I found that being in control of my content via Live Journal was much better than dealing with fanfiction.net or other sites.

I write FanFic on Forgotten Realms and Ravenloft - I use fanfiction.net and LiveJournal but I don't get many reviews, either way.

I started co-writing a Twilight fanfic but my partner decided to be a jerk and it never got finished.

I've written a Star Trek: The Next Generation story for a Star Trek publishing contest where the winners would be in a paperback anthology.  (It didn't win.)

I also once wrote a Star Wars story for Star Wars Adventure Journal back in the mid 1990s based on a RPG campaign I ran back in college with my friends.  Of course, Lucasfilm does not accept manuscripts from unpublished authors, but the editor was kind enough to send me notes on other reasons why he couldn't accept it.  Strictly as a writing exercise I rewrote the story along his guidelines, and I have to admit it is a much tighter plot.  I think his critique helped my writing a lot back then.

Other than those two, I haven't written any fanfic.  If I'm going to spend time writing, I'd rather write my own ideas.  Although during episodes of writers block, I've sometimes thought it might be an interesting exercise to write a story in one of my favorite movies/TV shows just to get the creative juices flowing.

Does anyone remember the 80's sitcom Alf? Well, I write Alf fan fiction. Only in my stories Alf is a convicted cat rapist with a heroine problem. I'll probably win the Mark Twain Award for it someday. I know you guys must be feeling really jealous. It's alright, we can't all be literary geniuses.
