I apologize to all for so many posts. I wasn't thinking that it would  bump everyone down. I won't do that in  the future. Sorry I had to add another post right now,  but didn't know what to do. Thank you to the member that brought this to my attention.

If anyone knows how to delete posts, I would  do that.

Rose, unfortunately there is no way to delete posts, they just have to fade off the pages as new ones are made, or old ones are brought back to the front.

I'm sure all is forgiven, but it does give an opportunity to remind other new people to the Bazaar to read the red post at the top and take the TOUR to learn the rules of the forum. Everybody should learn the rules to a place before diving in, and so many people do not read them, as you did not, before posting away.

So, hopefully, your error, for atleast a day or so, will be a lesson that others may learn from :)

And welcome to PBS and to the Book Bazaar!

Thanks, Sherry.

I actually did read the rules, but obviously I must have missed something, because I thought I could bump once a day on all my posts, which is what I thought applied here. However, there must be something about numbers of posts ;)

I will re-read.

Maybe next time you should put all your offers on one thread.

Live and learn around here Rose. Sherry is right, it is a good opportunity to get this point out the since there has been more multiple posts per person lately with the influx of new people.

BTW: right above the bumping rule in the tour thread is "General Rules in the Book Bazaar: (1) Members should post only one "bookshelf advertisement/"order from me" post per day. "

That's true. Tomorrow all  my offers will be in  one post.. Funny I had done that for about a week, with no replies. But I'll  try again.

Hi Rose,

I just had the same problem and I have 3 postings supposidly from me with no message.  I know I did not do that.  My first try came up blank and I tried to edit and it ended up as a new post.

If anyone is yelling because I have 3 blank posts for Patterson...I really did not do it.  LOL   I don't know what is going on.  Susie

No yellin' here Susie, just helpin'. Most of us have been around enough to see the forum gremlin multi-post phenomenon.

Susan,

Everyone was very cordial in telling me what I did wrong, and how to do it better, and I appreciated it. I did really have multiple postings  for different offers, and there's a better way to do that, so I don't bump everyone down.

I did notice your multiple  posts, and it really looked like it was an accident, since most were empty. It's OK.

Have a great day!

Rose

Hi Rose,

Just wanted to welcome you!  We all have to learn the ins and outs, but you'll find this is a wonderful place :)
