New Month!!

I just finshed Sophie Jordan's All Chained Up, a new contemporary series for her, but NTM author and I LOVED the book and wasn't ready for it to be over. Unusual troupe that you don't see in romance too often. I also finished Courtney Milan's Her Every Wish and loved Crash, he is an unusal hero in many ways, but very well told by Ms. Milan. Finished RL Mathewson's Christmas From Hell and it seemed a bit disjointed for me. I love the Bradfords, but this wasn't her best effort IMO. I also finshed Tara Sivec's Cupid Has a Heart On and this is a 2nd book in her The Holidays series with Sean and Noel, it was the usual LOL potty humor for her, but I do love Sean and Noel. Aunt Bobby is  hoot as always. I am currently reading the Lie and the Lady by Kate Noble and I am NOT loving it.

I finished Offside Chance by Mercy Celeste today. Loved this whole series and really hope there might be more one day! Loved how this one centered around all three couples from the series.

Counting down til the new Black Dagger book...The Beast on Tuesday!! Dunno if I'll start anything else before then. For sure not tonight. Tonight's devoted to The Walking Dead finale!!! Lol

I read thru some Harlequins this weeked by Lynne Graham.  Even though they all are about the same, sometimes I just have to read them.

Now, I'm on to Wrapped and Strapped by Lorelei James.  Plowing my way thru it, I don't really wanna put it down at all.

I'm rereading Still by Mary Calmes.  I can't get it to transfer to my new Samsung Tab A so I'm rereading on my old Nook before I lose it.

I finished Kele Moon's The Enforcer and OMGosh what a ride that was!!! A very powerfu, unexpected addition to the series. You just didn't expect Tino's book to be like that, very raw and very hard to read at times with the hard issues being dealt with. This ends in a cliff-hanger and hopefully we will get that 2nd part very, very soon. I heard that she has it wrote already. I wonder if we have met Novio's HEA in this book???? WoW what a read!

Ladies those of you that gave up on JR Ward after the disaster that was the Shadows, you might want to give The Beast a chance, it felt old school BDB with Rhage and Mary. Some really good potential threads going with Xcor and Layla...I think she figured out a way to wiggle Xcor out of the trouble he is in. Assail also seems to be getting his druggie butt out of hot water, but we shall see. I am glad I bought the book in the end. Also finished Jennifer Ashley's White Tiger and it was a really good read, again Zander almost stole the show with his bad self.

I'm reading my first Cora Seaton, His E-Mail Order Bride.  I haven't had much time to read but I'm enjoying it.

I agree Keri. I thought The Beast was awesome. Did you hear that Xcor and Layla are next?! Can't wait! And I'm really beginning to love Assail.

YESSS I heard that Melissa, I can't wait!!! I hope she does this book justice. I am going to be so angry if she shorts these two, they have been a fav couple of mine for awhile...so fingers crossed. I am reading Alissa Johnson's A Talent for Trickery and I am really liking this little gem of a book.

I just finished R.A. Steffan's The Horse Mistress and it is one of the best books I've read in awhile.  I'm not crazy about fantasy but this transcended the genre.

Softball season is here so I've been busy with the kiddies. I did manage to finish two books this week tho. The Resurrection of Aubrey Miller...this one was pretty good. And, The Art of Hero Worship by Mia Kerick...this one started out nicely then quickly went downhill for me.

I've been in a nostalgia mood lately, so have been rereading some old Betty Neels.
