**TAKEN**

Skeletons on the Zahara: A True Story of Survival by Dean King - http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780316835145-Skeletons+on+the+Zahara+A+True+Story+of+Survival

This is based on the true story of the sailors aboard The Commerce which was shipwrecked off of the coast of Africa. The men endured just about every horrible thing that could possibly happen to them and it's very surprising that any of them lived to tell the tale. If you crave murder, starvation, and desperation in your reads, this book is for you! LOL!

Not a WL book, but I wanted to offer it here first. I'll post it on Sunday p.m., if I don't hear from anybody.

I have a hardcover, former library book, titled That Great Lucifer by Margaret Irwin. It's postable - good binding, clean (lightly soiled page edges), dustcover present and in good condition. But as a former library book, it has the usual markings. One corner (bottom front cover) is starting to fray.

I'll throw it in with any order on request, or you can buddy me a credit, if you just want this book.

Taken. Thanks for your interest!

Genie

It's a semi-biography of Sir Walter Raleigh. It's not a novel, but the author makes a point of saying it isn't a scholarly work either.

If it were written today, I imagine that it'd just be treated as popular history - easy to read.

Hi everyone, I'm back.  Had a great time, have been back for a few days, just dropped my mom off at the airport for her flight back home to Mn.  Trying to get my bearings straight and trying to tidy my house!  I have some wl books if anyone is interested:

Myself My Enemy--Jean Plaidy, pb isbn 0449206483

Songs of the Humpback Whale--Jodi Picoult, pb isbn 0743431014

Crowned in a Far Country--Princess Michael of Kent, pb isbn 073296370

I also have a pb copy of Plaidy's The Murder in the Tower free with any order; it's teetering on the edge of being postable/unpostable.  It's completely readable, just getting old.

This is the first in the Anne de Bohun trilogy.
