A wonderful play about a mystery that took place in an English Manor in 1809.

Taking place in both 1809 and the 1990's the reader (or audience) will learn pieces of the truth from the people in both time periods.

In some scenes the 1800 and 1990's charecters will find themselves sharing the stage, but never will they both be sharing the same information with the reader.

Some of Tom Stoppard's best pyrotechnics in this little gem of a play. Full of ideas, witty dialogue, post-modern commentary, historical allusion and modern attitude.

Great play! Well written and intriguing...blends real literary figure of Lord Byron with fictitious storylines set in two different time lines.
