Yeah!   I just picked up my copy of this from Wal-mart for $6.00!  I LOVED the first one.  Can't wait to read it!

Can you believe I've had the first one since it came out and never got around to reading it?  Well, I picked up #2 today so I can read them back to back if I want.  Sometimes I'm glad when I do that, because I hate the wait...LOL

I want soft feathers to wrap me up. Yum yum!

Any other good angel/fallen angel series out there? I've started Covet a couple of times, but keep putting it down in favor of something else. I'm reading the YA book, Fallen, right now. Love the angels and demons!

Courtney,

I have Fallen here on my pile to read.  I tried Hush Hush, but just could not get into it.

Is there going to be a third book?  I loved the first book and the second one is waiting to be read.

Not sure, Arica. Her website doesn't show one in the works, but I bet there will be more.

I did find out though that there is an e-only novella that goes with the series called, Angels' Pawn.

"Do I need to read Angels' Pawn before reading Angel's Blood?

No. I wrote the novella so that it could be read at any point in the series.

What's Angels' Pawn about?

Angels' Pawn is a stand-alone novella that focuses on two characters who are mentioned in Angel's Blood, the Guild Hunter Ashwini, and the vampire, Janvier. It's dark, sexy and fun.

Because of the novella format, we get only a glimpse of their relationship, but I intend to return to these two as the series continues."

Sharon Shinn's Samaria series is great. There are 5 books in the series and are generally readily available.

I've started Covet a couple of times, but keep putting it down in favor of something else.

Give it another shot. It picks up and I thought it was really good.

Okay, finally started this and finished last night. I really liked it. Though, I do like my heroines to be kick-ass and it was hard to see Elena be so....needy. I understand why, I just want her strong again.

Do you think she is going to writea series based on the Seven? She went into a lot of details about the various angels and a couple of vamps. Left a lot to develop later. Like Galen needing that one vamp saved from Dahariel(or whatever their names were)or the albino guy not liking to be touched, etc. I would be interested in that!

I am with you. I would love to read more about the seven.

I also noticed now needy Elena was in this book, too, and I hope in the next one she will have her strength built back up. It will be intersting to see where she goes with this series.

Just started reading this book. I wish I had been able to re-read Angels' Blood first since I've now forgotten a lot of characters and things that happened in it. Oh well, I'm sure I'll catch up as I read.
