One of many Benni Harper mysteries, this, as all of them by Earlene Fowler, is named after a quilt design. The plot pieces together bits of the solution until it comes together, Americana quilt-style, in a small town, U.S.A. setting. Folksy, easy read.

Wonderful author....she really writes memorable characters.
I was fortunate enough to have heard her speak at my local library. She talked about how whe came up with the ideas of her characters & plots. It was very enjoyable.

This is quite a stretch for Benni. EAch book gives you more and more information on her earlier life. I liked it a lot.
I really enjoy cozy mysteries and this one is no exception. I really like the main character Bennie and her grandma. What a hoot that grandma is! LOL
