Even though it is one of the classics, it is too wordy and long (and really, boring!) for my liking. There are interesting parts, and sometimes even slightly page-turner parts, but not enough to make the whole book interesting. They could probably say everything that modern people would find interesting in half the pages of the book. I would have preferred to read an abridged version.
