Excellent Native comfort food recipes in this book. The cookbook is divided into regions of the country, and includes many great recipes including tamales, the Southwest Indian way; great and tasty uses for venison; hearty stews and soups; very nice deserts, and more. One very simple favorite of mine is orange slices marinated in honey, which comes to us courtesy of the Florida Indian nations.

I can't wait to try more of the recipes in this book!
