This new and comprehensive book on Art of the Stone Age has been prepared by experts under the supervision of Dr.Hans-Georg Bandi, Professor at the University of Berne, Switzerland. Dr.Bandi, himself, has written the article of the Spanish Levant. The chapter on the Cantabrians is by Abbe H. Breuil and Dr. L. Berger-Kirchner. Dr. Henri Lhote, recently returned from an archaeological expedition in the Sahara is responsible for the chapter on North African art, and Dr. E. Holm, a well known scholar, wrote the article on South African art. Dr. A. Lommel, Director of the Munich Museum of Ethnology, describes recent Australian discoveries.
