Sorry, that's against PBS policy.  Every book is one credit here (audiobooks 2 credits).

Well, that's what it'll take for me to part with it.  Otherwise, I'll keep it.

That's the great thing about PBS.  You can keep any book you want.  :)

PBS works under the false assumption that all books are equal.

Yes Brian, on this site, all books ARE equal.  Asking for more than one credit per book is strictly against the rules. Except for Audio books, which are 2 credits,

Back to the original point...

Todd-

I got that book for my husband for Christmas, and I read through it as well.  He loved the book, however, he knew Artie in the first place (which is why he wanted it of course).  I, on the other hand, didn't know who the guy was.  Personally, I enjoyed the book more when it was talking about his childhood, before he became famous.  I'm just not very interested in reading about troubles with drugs, alcohol, etc.  Also, I wasn't a big fan of the language of the book, but I doubt it would have been as effective if it was different.

Anyway, I noticed your avatar.  Are you a WoW fan?  I play an Undead Warrior myself :)

Oh well, I guess I'm a rule breaker.  When I get more than one credit for this book, I'll let you know.

All MEN are created equal.  All BOOKS are not.  People who need to watch their sugar intake DRINK equal!

It's not just the rules you'll be breaking.  It's your membership, too.

Brian, You cannot trade your book for more than ONE credit, it is agains the rules of the site. Plus why would anyone here give you 6 credits, which is equivalent to $15 to $20, when they could wait for it here on PBS and get it for 1 credit or go over to an auction site and buy it for $7.99? If you want more for it then you should go sell elsewhere.

Brian, "rule breakers" will not be members of PBS for long!

I looked at Brian's account before he was auf'd, and his review of the Artie Lange book wasn't even that positive.

I knew he wouldn't last long here!  So much for insisting on breaking the rules.

There's something about being a rebelious rule breaker on a paperback exchange site that is just really silly.  I'll stop now.

(I still think it's just a tiny bit hilarious)

It is truly,  awesomely, wildly, unconditionally, boldly, bullheadedly, hugely, absolutely, very, very, very HILARIOUS!!!!  IMHO.

Pamela - Yeah.  Completely and totally hilarious.   I really can't think of a sadder rebellion then sticking it to PBS by flouting the credit system.

I'm new here and didn't want to push it.

Kimberly, thanks for the review. I do enjoy Artie because I listen to him daily so hopefully I will get the book like your husband. As for my avitar I saw it somewhere one day and thought it was cool so I used it, what does WOW stand for? As for ol' Brian, some people never learn. I have really enjoyed this site and haven't had too many dealings with the Brians of the world on here. Seems everywhere you go there is allways one.

I loved Artie's book.....way more than I thought I would.  I am a fan though, I hadn't thought about it before now, but I'm not sure if I would have liked it as much if I wasn't a fan. You know as well as I do, Artie is sort of an "acqired" taste. I read it from the library, I've thought about wishlisting it so I can get it to keep.
