Great compilation of thoughts from Elisabeth Elliot. They vary in topic and are not necessarily on asking God "why?" So I found the title a bit confusing. I would more describe the book as mini articles on various topics. I especially enjoyed her description of visiting Jim's grave in the jungle. I haven't found this experience in any of her other books.

I'm 21 and think all single girls and guys should read this book. Elisabeth Elliot has woven her own story of waiting before marriage throughout the book and it was an immense encouragement to me.
